These are some of my favourite quilts. Most are on the washing line in my garden. I must get more inventive.
Kind of Weird
Selfish sewing – the red cosy one
This quilt is a copy cat of a quilt made by Jordana Paige found on Pinterest. Various solids and a few prints from stash. The back is bobbly bright yellow fleece the choice of my daughter whose quilt it is. In fact it’s usually up this way on her bed as the cats make a bee line for it. As I’ve said elsewhere the cats rule this household!
This is a design I found on one of the wonderful tutorials of the Missouri Quilt Company. It’s basically appliqué and uses the scraps from another quilt I have just made. This went to my mother-in-law.
This mini quilt is for the Quilters Guild Modern Group 2016 challenge. The theme this year is black and white and one other (colour). The technique I wanted to play with was bias tape appliqué and coming home from a trip I happened to glance at my satnav as I was going through a particularly busy junction and saw this beautiful design. It’s the M4 and M5 interchange. Who would have known road planners had such artistry!
The Stargazer quilt by Lunden designs using the Birch organic cotton range of Scamper. I liked the earthy tones and it goes well in our lounge. Those skinny arms were the devil to do…
Interlock a quilt design by Amy Friend is a fast and furious quilt design if you want it to be. It got pretty much pieced in a day, a long day, for Project Linus. No seams to match and easy chain piecing. Perfect for a jelly roll.
A portrait of our cat using the confetti method.
Using the six minute insert circle technique, although I never managed to do it in six minutes, this quilt was for Eva, a friend’s grandchild
…and finally the triangle quilt using Dear Stella Flirt range for the newly born baby sister of Eva
What an amazing collection. You are clearly very talented.

First visit to your site and my goodness you are a wonderfully talented quilter. I so enjoy seeing what others make and reading about the process, the machines, the stories of juggling family and sewing. Thanks so much for the blessing you are. I think I must go sew now as your site has inspired me to finish what is waiting on my sewing table.

I actually was looking for information about lilac cats as we’re adopting one (she comes home tomorrow!), but decided to take a look at your quilt gallery anyway.
You are very talented! I don’t know the first thing about quilting but yours are truly beautiful 🙂

Oh my gosh! I love this collection of quilts. So many really pretty finishes. Just wanted to tell you – this is my first visit to your site. Through the Window, Textured Plaid and Kind of Weird are my favorites. That plaid one is such a striking use of small patchwork squares.
